Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of wemakepatterns (the "Site") and any digital products you purchase from us. By using the Site or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. The products
We sell digital crochet patterns delivered as PDF downloads or through cloud folder links (Google Drive). Once purchased, you may download and use the patterns immediately. There are no physical goods to ship.
2. License — what you can do
You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to:
- Use the patterns to create finished items for personal use.
- Sell finished items you make from our patterns at craft fairs, online shops, or social media — credit appreciated but not required.
- Print or save the patterns on devices you own.
3. License — what you cannot do
- Resell, redistribute, or share the PDF files themselves (whether free or for money).
- Upload patterns to pattern-sharing sites, Telegram channels, or Pinterest as downloadable files.
- Translate, rewrite, or republish the patterns under your own name.
- Use our images, photos, or instructional text in your own products.
All patterns remain the intellectual property of wemakepatterns. Violation of this license may result in revoked access and legal action.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are in US dollars (USD). Payment is processed by Stripe (cards) or PayPal (your PayPal balance / linked card). Charges appear on your statement as "wemakepatterns" or a related identifier from the processor.
Optional add-ons (such as the +100 Crochet Patterns bundle) are clearly priced and disclosed before charging. We do not enrol you in subscriptions or recurring charges without your explicit consent.
5. Refunds
See our Refund policy for full details. Summary: 7-day satisfaction window, refund via the original payment method, contact us at the email below to request.
6. Delivery and access
You will be redirected to a thank-you page immediately after purchase, with a link to download or open your patterns. A receipt with the same access information will also be emailed to you. If you cannot locate your delivery, check your spam folder, then contact us.
7. Accuracy of patterns
Every pattern is tested before publication, but yarn weight, hook size, gauge, and personal technique can vary. We are not responsible for finished projects that differ from the photos due to factors outside our control. If you spot an error in a pattern, let us know — we will verify and update it.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site to break any law.
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Site's security.
- Use automated tools to scrape, download, or distribute content.
- Misuse refunds or chargebacks (e.g. filing a dispute after using the patterns).
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and patterns are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected immediately, or that the Site is free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Site or any purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which wemakepatterns is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion will be settled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
